Process & Spot Colour
Process is often referred to as full colour, which uses the standard cyan, magenta, yellow and black transparent inks combined to produce a wide range of colours. Spot colours are specially mixed inks using the Pantone Matching System, We mix spot colours inhouse including Pantone Formula, Pastels and Metalics. Please ensure all elements in the document that you want in your special colours are that colour in the file.
Bleeds & Crops
Crop marks show where your product gets trimmed to the final size. To ensure your images extend to the trimmed edge please have them go past the crop marks by 1/8”. Also, to ensure important information isn’t lost please keep 1/8” inside the trim edge.
Your monitor displays in RGB, we print in CMYK. Having your files in CMYK gives a better representation of what your piece will look like printed. For the best representation of the final colour you may request to see a hard copy proof.
